I serve as Co-Director (with Jacob Hacker, Alex Hertel-Fernandez and Kathleen Thelen), of The Consortium for American Political Economy. This initiative seeks to catalyze work within political science on the American political economy, and to foster community and intellectual exchange amongst APE scholars.
I serve as Director of the Berkeley Economy and Society Initiative, a new center to support research and intellectual community among scholars working on pressing issues in political economy. BESI is developing four research clusters, related to Climate, Technology, Inequality, and Capitalism and Democracy.
